Likhwezi arts project is a group of talented performing artists who has achieved recognition in different arts disciplines. The group's repertoire combines song and dance from a variety of Southern African Cultures, accompanied by marimba, drums & percussion. Likhwezi have been involved in many different productions local, national & internationally as performers and African music and dance teachers, with a wide range of talent qualification and experience. WOMEN UNITE
Based in Cape Town
FOUNDED in April 1997, Women Unite consists of eight women who have been trained in different disciplines of music, dance and drama. The band consists of marimbas, drumming, vocals and dance. In 2003 and 2004 Norway funded an exchange project between Women Unite and Brazz Brothers from Norway with concerts and workshops in South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique and Norway. MORE

ZULU DRUMMING AND DANCING
