Thank you for your interest in joining the ever-growing Five Seasons Music Artist roster.
Please note that our representation is limited to artists falling within the main styles contained on our roster (which you can peruse using the navigation on the top left of the page). We do not represent Artists who are not permanently based in South Africa, or start-up acts.
We generally do not represent the following:
- Artists based abroad
- Hip Hop (apart from artists who have reached superstar status)
- Reggae
- House DJ
- Kwaito (apart from artists who have reached superstar status)
- Start-up Acts, or Artists with substantially limited performance experience
- Session Musicians
If you are an Artist looking to join the Agency and your Act falls within the categories that we do represent, please follow the steps outlined below in order for us to assess your applcation.
1. Download and read the Artist Invitation & Guidelines document
2. Download and complete the New Artist Application form
3. Compile the list of additional promotional materials required (outlined in the above documents)
Once you have read and completed the documents and compiled your additional list of required materials (outlined in the PDF file), please send your submission as a professionally prepared package to apply@5sm.co.za. Please make sure your email is no larger than 6MB in size. Emails in excess of 6MB will not be delivered and will bounce back to you.
If you need to send larger files, please split your application into sections, or rather use a service such as YouSendIt (http://www.yousendit.com/)
Please be advised only submissions meeting the above criteria will be considered for new additions and incomplete applications will not be reviewed or responded to.
