One of Johannesburg's most popular and in demand bands, HAVANA GAS combines the talents of some of South Africa's most exceptional musicians.

Storme Campbell (bass/vocals) released her self-titled debut CD late 2001. The album recently reached number two on the SA Rock Digest Charts, and the single, "Don't be a Stranger", is currently playlisted on radio stations across South Africa. She is a distinctive, vibrant and versatile vocalist who constantly surprises and impresses the audience. She studied bass at the Pretoria Tech Jazz School.

Doug Campbell (guitar/vocals) signed with Virgin Records in the UK, where Sting produced three of his songs. He co-wrote the music for the movie "Heel Against The Head" and wrote the score for a TV series filmed in Europe. He also studied guitar at Pretoria Tech.

Shereen Smith (keyboards/sax/vocals) is a graduate of UCT and a member of the National Youth Big Band. She has played with Judith Sephuma and in hit shows such as "The Fab Four Extravaganza".

Connie Kay (keyboards/sax/vocals) is a Bachelor of Music who has performed internationally. She has played with Kreesan and in hit shows such as "Glory Days", "Joseph", "Nunsense" and "California Dreaming".

David Klassen (vocals/drums/percussion) performs with Danny K and many other top-flight bands, and plays with the "Noot Vir Noot" band on SABC TV.

Philip Holder (saxes/vocals) is an orchestral arranger who has worked with such jazz luminaries as Bruce Cassidy.
