A wise man once said, “Music speaks louder than words” and never has a statement rung so true as for Sans of Time. Whilst individually diverse, the members of Sans of Time unite and light up the stage with a feast of songs that is most aptly described as haunting and vibrant.  

Few musicians/bands have managed to get the delicate combination of talent and business correct. Sans of Time, through a fine balance of technical skill and meeting nothing less than world class service-level standards, have managed to achieve a sustained level of extreme client satisfaction over a number of years. The secret to their success has definitely been a triangular combination of their technical obsession with musical quality with regards to sound and tone, their ability to deal with people in a highly professional way due to exposure to the corporate environment both locally and internationally, and raw talent.

This band has found its niche in the music fraternity by producing music, which is both appealing and familiar to audiences from any corner of the globe. They specialize in crowd-diversity, which transcends racial, religious, cultural and international boundaries. With Jazzy roots and a dance band routine that features amongst others, a Latino flair ranging from the fifties and sixties to modern day, combined with haunting ballads during early evening dinner, is guaranteed to set the scene for ultimate listening pleasure.

Alrick Sangster
As the leader of this band, Alrick comes with vast experience both on and off the stage. His rapport with people from all walks of life, whether it is business or pleasure, has allowed this talented singer to open doors for this outfit both Nationally and Internationally.

His haunting voice and devilish stage personality will have you eating out of his hands within minutes. Alrick has negotiated, infiltrated and entertained crowds of diverse people and created truly memorable occasions over many years. He has the ability to hold a crowd in the palm of his hand and rock them into the early hours of the morning.

Originally from a Baptist gospel music background, with a strong flair for Ballads, Jazz and Pop music. His diverse repertoire of songs will include  his influences which are Cliff Richard, Richard Marx, Al Jarreau, George Benson, Luther Vandros, Josh Groban, Robbie Williams, Michael Buble, George Michael, Will Young, Elton John, Sting, Ne-yo, Michael Franks, The Commitments, Tom Jones, Maroon 5, Mighty Motown sounds and many, many more.

Marysa
Marysa has played the Cape Jazz scene for four years before embarking on a stint in Dubai for one year. She rejoined Sans of Time in 2003 and has added her much needed refreshing voice to a recipe that is now truly world class. She puts the sugar into soul and the juice into jazz with her vivacious moves and brilliant stage act. Her recent international experience (London and Zambia) has added a dimension of very specific vocal spice that is appreciated and admired by all.

Marysa has an amazingly musical ear that adds harmony to virtually any note. A sensual and classy act that performs with sincerity and soul. A beautiful woman that is adored by all crowds and evokes emotion amongst all who witness her smooth, soulful performances. In local circles, she is known as a vocal gymnast and often out-sings the original artists with her fabulous vocal range. This bright singing sensation is on the rise and is ready for an elaborate career in an industry that is fortunate to have her.

Her influences are Anastasia, Daina Kraal, Abba, Duffy, Leona Lewis, Amy Whinehouse, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, Lisa Stansfield, Tina Turner, Micheal Buble, Diana Ross and many more.

Anik
This beautiful singer joined Sans of Time in 2007 with a wealth of experience. Anik has a hauntingly beautiful voice that is bound to cause goose bumps every time you listen to her. Her voice is melodic and her stage act sultry with husky overtones. 

Over and above her vocal ability, professionalism and her fantastic work ethic, she has a porcelain skin with chiseled features which formulates an entire package that is heavenly to have in one’s armory.
Anik has done 2 gig stints in the Middle East, performed in London, Zambia and a vast amount of work locally with various bands. This has allowed her to hone her unique vocal ability into something really special.

This exotic artist has brought a very special quality and repertoire to this band which has rounded off the outfit to a complete package. Her performance and contribution is nothing short of spectacular. Her influences are Sarah McCloughlin, Dido, Sade, The Corrs, Randy Crawford, Sheryl Crow, Carly Simon and many, many more.
