Pieter Tredoux, a student of the highly acclaimed opera star of yesteryear Nellie du Toit, is a charming and popular baritone specializing in lighter genres. These include French cabaret like Piaf and Brel; Golden Oldies (music from the 1920’s – 1970’s) and popular numbers from musicals and films. Riaan Eloff started playing piano at age eight. Born into a musically gifted family, his mother plays several instruments, his father guitar and trumpet and both his sisters play instruments and all sing to some extent. His formal education in piano and theory culminated in a Grade 8 qualification at the University of South Africa (UNISA) in 1987.

WAYNE PURCHASE
Based in Johannesburg
Wayne Purchase started to play music from the age of six and went on to win prestigious music competitions for five consecutive years by the age of eleven. He trained in classical piano during his high school years and went on to study jazz piano at Pretoria Technikon, South Africa (now known as Tswane University of Technology) and completed his National Diploma in 1995.

ELNA VAN DER MERWE
Based in Cape Town
One of the Cape's most sought after piano accompanists, Elna van der Merwe has appeared as piano- and organ soloist with the KRUIK Orchestra, the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra, and the University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra , as well as with the new Cape Philharmonic Orchestra during August this year. She performs regularly as accompanist at national music competitions, as well as UNISA international competitions.
