LYRIC ENSEMBLE - STRING TRIO

Based in Johannesburg

Established by Laurie Howe,  Lyric Ensemble has been part of South Africa's music industry for 10 years. Laurie moved to South Africa after completing her Masters degree in New York. Here she was the assistant principal cellist for the SABC Orchestra and the National Symphony Orchestra.

The group consists of professional musicians who were trained locally and overseas, and who  currently play in professional orchestras in the Gauteng Area.

REPERTOIRE
The repertoire for chamber groups includes Light Classic, Baroque, Viennese, Italian, Celtic,Contemporary or Jazz music, Lloyd Webber, Sinatra, and popular music.  Be it a soothing cello solo or duet, a vibrant string trio, a quartet to wine and dine to, jazz to listen to, or a band to dance to, the Lyric Ensemble will set the mood for your special occasion.  They can also provide a sound system to cater for large functions and any speeches you may require.
